Mamba S11 or S22 - which one to choose?
Both models are 3-phase Type 2 to Type 2 cables (Mode 3). The S11 is enough for most drivers, since the majority of cars charge on AC at up to 11 kW. The S22 is the right choice if your car or charging station supports 22 kW charging - or you want to be ready for what comes next.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Mamba charging cable fit my car?
Almost certainly. Mamba is a Mode 3 charging cable with Type 2 connectors, and Type 2 is the standard connector on electric and plug-in hybrid cars sold in Europe. If your car has a Type 2 charging inlet, the cable fits. If you are unsure, tell us your car model and year and we will confirm.
Which should I choose: S11 or S22?
Choose the S22 (22 kW, 32 A) if your car's on-board charger or the stations you use support AC charging above 11 kW, or you want to be ready for your next car. The S11 (11 kW, 16 A) is enough for most drivers, since the majority of cars charge on AC at up to 11 kW. Charging always takes place at the power allowed by the car and the station, so neither cable can force too much power.
Can the cable stay plugged into the car after charging?
During charging the cable is safely connected, as the car and the station lock the connector. After charging we recommend unplugging the cable and storing it protected, for example in its carrying case. The IP67-rated construction withstands the weather, but keeping the connectors plugged in unnecessarily long is not recommended.
Is a charging cable an extension cord?
No. A Mode 3 charging cable is intended solely for the connection between the car and the charging station. A charging cable must not be extended with an extension cord or used with adapters - this is a safety requirement that applies to all Mode 3 charging cables.
Does the cable work in winter frost?
It does. The operating temperature of Mamba cables is -35...+50 °C, and the Zero Bubble TPU jacket stays flexible even in hard frost. Clean snow and ice off the connectors before plugging in and store the cable somewhere dry between charges so the connectors do not freeze.
